Never a moment of doubt

“I chose Waller Realty because they have the biggest profile in Castlemaine but I also chose Nick Haslam. I felt confident he was going to do a good job.

I had owned the property for 14 years, virtually rebuilding it from scratch, so it was a big decision to sell and I wanted it to be sold for the very best price.

Nick was able to see my perspective and the goal I wanted to reach. We developed a very good working partnership and I was able to negotiate and discuss all the way along. He was also very patient. As a shift worker I wasn’t always easy to get hold of.

I wasn’t surprised we sold quickly. Nick paced all the marketing really well. There was never a moment I questioned my decision to go with him.

Both Nick and Tom Robertson were able to provide very clear advice on how best to present my property for sale which I found extremely helpful.

I was really impressed by how the two agents worked together to achieve the best result. In the end, both agents had a prospective buyer for my property but I was never in any doubt that my best interests were their main priority, not their own.

I am very impressed and would definitely recommend Waller Realty and Nick to anyone in the area.”

Cottage

This amazing property, at Whitehorse Gully Road, Chewton,  is set on approximately two acres of land which backs onto the National Heritage Park. This National Heritage Park is the most intact remnant of the 1850’s diggings and the land is an archaeologists delight. Wherever you dig you dig up pieces of mining history. Little bricks, remains of stone paths, pottery, bottles, remnants of tools and even bits of railway track can be found littering the area.

Aside from the comfortable timber home one of the real features of this property is the stone cottage, built during the gold rush era, when miners lived here and worked mines like the nearby White Gully Mine.
